Solid wood table AnDante is based on the traditional "Bregenzerwälder Bauerntisch" (regional farmer's table). The design takes its inspiration from the original slate plate and transforms it into a structural construction of black steel. The design was submitted to the handwerk+form competition in 2018 (Werkraum Bregenzerwald). The special feature of the square table mod. at_13 is its single leg made of steel which provides legroom all the way around. The combination of steel and solid wood gives this table a unique character. Materials: The table top is made of solid, glued wood with a 42 mm panel thickness. The surface is oiled except when choosing maple wood. The square single leg is made of anthracite coloured rolled steel with an oiled surface. Various woods are available. The characteristic feature of the filigree table is the combination of solid wood and hot rolled steel. A significant detail is the all-round set-back frame the table top is screwed onto with a 5 mm shadow gap. The table is suitable for the living or working area. Materials: The oiled table top is made of solid, glued wood with a 42 mm panel thickness. The oiled legs are made of hot rolled steel profiles. Various woods are available. Details: The table top is divided by a longitudinal joint of approx. 3 mm. The legs are divided by a joint and demountable. J104 Designed to recreate the classic FBD furniture collection, the J-Series offers a functional design born out of industrial development. FDB created a strong furniture concept in 1933, and under Børge Mogensen’s leadership as design director from 1942, the FDB furniture linked industrial production closely with architectural furniture design. The primary focus was not on detailing, but on making well-designed furniture accessible to the general population. The industrial approach eliminated the need for special components and all chairs featured identical legs. FDB revolutionised the industry as a precursor of many of the design icons that Denmark is acknowledged for today around the world. Jørgen Bækmark’s J104 chair was designed as a cross between a dining chair and an easy chair, HAY’s reproduction of this classic is crafted in solid beech with a natural finish or a variety of coloured finishes. Frame: Constructed from solid American Walnut, turned American Walnut legs and stretches, and contrasting Hickory spindles, clear low- sheen finish and nylon glides. Each Chair features George Nakashima's signature under the seat. Note: American Walnut exhibits a high degree of natural colour characteristics, ranging from chocolate, grey and purplish-browns to deep honey. Colour variation will soften and become more uniform over time. 57cm W x 51cm D, 75.5cm H with a seat height of 42cm.
