Ground Up Journal Issue 10: BREATHE

Ground Up is the award winning graduate student journal of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at the University of California, Berkeley.

Our 10th Issue: Breathe, asks for reflections on living and participating in landscapes of justice, tension, and empathy. This issue will explore the interdisciplinary possibilities and solutions amidst the crisis and calm, and confinement and freedom of 2020. We seek work from a range of contributors - from academics to practitioners, artists to scientists, and students to professionals. Landscape architecture is an interdisciplinary field, and as such we welcome subject matter from art practice, ecology, architecture, geography, urban design, literature, policy, social justice advocacy and beyond.

Submissions are due January 17th - visit our website to learn more about this year's theme and submission guidelines.
