Our LUZ chair brings the charm of a 1960s hotel lounge into your living room. Its sweeping, rounded seat shell and backrest are now also available entirely in wood, harvested naturally from sustainable forests, as well as in its earlier version with luxurious upholstery in an environmentally friendly mixture of new wool and a cold foam made from castor oil. This chair was made and released by Christensen & Larsen in 1960. The back of the initial model was shaved from solid wood and was integrated with the armrests. There have been several model changes since then, and this re-production model can be considered the final form. A sheet of leather of only 1 mm in thickness covers wood parts as if to merge with the wood.
